Having grown up in a creative family I have always been involved in crafts. Over the years I have taken part in courses in weaving, silver-smithing and photography and have taught classes in various types of knitting. For some years I ran a small silkscreening company and have dabbled in enamelling and creative patchwork.

Now that I am semi-retired I find that, at last, I have the time and energy to explore and perfect my skills.

Having moved to Scotland I have become fascinated with the surrounding environment and this is influencing my
work as far as materials and colours are concerned. I am keen to develop new colours and ideas for woven and knitted scarves and more jewellery using natural
materials.
